Looked out the window one afternoon, and saw an intricate pattern of clouds silhouetted by the late sun. Packed up my gear, headed out to a high spot, and watched one of the most brilliant sunsets I've seen in months unfold. About 15-20 minutes after the sun dipped below the Rocky Mountains, this fiery scene unfolded.
