A valley off of Mount Evans, late fall Colorado, extending down into a hazy sea of obscured mountain peaks as sunset fades.
Updated: After a poll, I've updated this with a better alternative version that is better composed. Hope you enjoy.

This is one of the first shots taken with my new Lee Filters system. The system is simply amazing. Its extremely easy to use, and adapts to any lens size. Dozens of filters are available, including .3, .45, .6, .75, .9 (1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 stops) in both soft and hard grad. For normal ND, .3, .6, and .9 are available. Coral and other tone ND filters are also available, for those who prefer to do all effects with the camera (or for film users.)
The lakes down below are called Chicago Lakes. I wish I had a copy of the pictures I took from the lower lake that I could should you.. but they're on an external hard drive 300 miles from my current location.. aha.. Gorgeous shot.
Aye, those would be Chicago Lakes. Lower down the valley, you can also see Idaho Springs Res. as well. Echo lake is in the same chain, however I think its obscured from this vantage.
I hope to get back up there before they close all the roads, and get a shot with snow all around. Actually, I'd like a shot from all four seasons from the same vantage, I think that would be intriguing.
The road is probably closed already. I think it's only open early june through labor day. Echo lake will be open all year, because the highway runs right next to it.
They close the road in stages. From Summit Lake to the peak, its closed, but I think the rest is still open so far. From what I understand, it will probably remain open for a couple more weeks. Even in winter, I believe you can hike up, if you have the guts and will.
